Lithuanian forward Martyna Petrenaite (181-1998) notched 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Malury Bates (191-1999, college: Georgia) supported her with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Even a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds by American center Emma Merriweather (196-1998, college: ULM) did not help to save the game for Basket Ostrava . Her fellow American import forward Skylar Treadwell (185-2002, college: Bellarmine) added 9 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brandys maintains fifth position with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Basket Ostrava still closes the standings with six games lost.
